• Initially choosing which company to use to fit our carpet felt like a minefield so I decided to have my walk in larder done first to test the waters. I was so pleased with the selection of flooring to choose from and the level of service I received from first walking in to the showroom, measuring up and fitting. It is an old cottage with nooks and crannies and sometimes irregular shaped walls. Noproblem for the experienced fitters.

  My next mission was to find carpet for three rooms downstairs, up the stairs and along the landing.Once again a great selection to choose from. I settled on Crown Luxury Silk in two different complimentary colours. I cannot recommend it enough. It is the softest carpet I have ever walked on and it has transformed my home. Despite the fact that the carpet I chose was manufactured in Belgium ordering it was still a smooth process post Brexit. I had the off cuts turned into rugs as it was too lovely to throw away!

  Everyone I met at Pennells was a pleasure to deal with and made me feel like a valued customer. It feels good to deal with a local long standing family business with solid values of customer service and a fair price. I am happy to recommend them to anyone!
