We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who popped in to Uckfield over the weekend for our clearance sale.

It was a very successful couple of days and really helped us get the warehouse cleared for our move in the next few weeks!

We would also like to thank all of our customers for the support you’ve shown us, not only throughout the last unprecedented year, but over the last 29 years that we’ve been open in Uckfield.

The closure of Pennells Carpets Uckfield marks the end of an era and the start of new adventure for us at our brand new relocated warehouse in Polegate and for our now only retail shop in Heathfield!

We will be respecting social distancing rules within our shop and ask that you also respect these rules.

Going forward we will be allowing two households in the shop at any one time, so please be patient on entry. Face masks must be worn.

We can’t wait to see you all again, so please do pop in to see us in Heathfield, opposite the Fire Station with parking right next to the store.

Our shops may be empty of customers at the moment, since our doors are closed to the public, but our warehouse is looking full…

We’ve been playing catch up this week, since we lost our last week of working before Christmas due to a COVID19 outbreak within our offices. We’ve been very busy booking everyone back in for fitting and answering all the enquiries we missed over the festive period!

Thank you for your continued support throughout a strange 2020 and here’s to another busy year!

Taking on a New Challenge

After nearly 30 very busy years in Uckfield we have decided to take on a new challenge. During January & February we will be moving our entire retail business to our retail shop in Heathfield, in the High Street opposite the Fire Station, where we have been successfully trading since 1982.

The retail team will remain, so familiar faces. Chris Shaw & Stephen McLellan who have both been part of our sales team for over 20 years now and who have both worked in both our Uckfield & Heathfield stores over the years. Their wealth of knowledge will help you with all of your flooring needs along with Julian Pennells who has been in the flooring industry both as a fitter and in sales since he left school, over 35 years ago.

Chris, Julian & Steve are supported by Amy Lewis who joined the team nearly 4 years ago.

All contact details such as telephone numbers and email addresses will remain the same and we will continue to offer the same customer focused service. Nothing is changing except that we will no longer be in Uckfield. Please do come and visit us in Heathfield ,with parking right next to the store, or alternatively, call us on 01435 862000 or 01825 766422 to arrange for Chris, Julian or Steve to make a home visit and bring samples.

Our warehousing will be moving to a new location just north of Eastbourne where we are excited to be opening a Trade Counter ‘over the counter sales’ offering everything you need for your carpet & flooring project. Our contract team will continue to serve the needs of our current, and hopefully new contract flooring clients.

We’ve almost reached the end of our first week of being back open after the closure of our stores due to COVID-19.

We would like to thank each and every one of you who visited us this week, or contacted us, for being so understanding during this strange time!

Safely Opening to Customers

We have reopened today, after being closed due to COVID-19. If you are planning on visiting, we would appreciate it if you could please respect the social distancing rules in place within our shops.

We have spent some of this week preparing both of our shops ready for you to visit. You’ll be rest assured that we’re doing everything we can to maintain social distancing measures.

Following government guidelines, we will be reopening on Monday 15th June.

For the rest of this week, we are still taking phone calls and emails, as our skeleton staff are working from our offices, but as of this coming Monday, our doors will be open.
